That’s why we’re proud to offer the GrassRoots Turf Future Entrepreneur Scholarship—an opportunity for students to showcase their ideas, creativity, and business mindset.
We’re not looking for perfect answers.
We’re looking for real thinkers, problem-solvers, and future leaders.
The Details
Scholarship Award
- $2,500 Scholarship
- Featured on the GrassRoots Turf website and social media
Scholarship Prompt
If you were given a GrassRoots Turf franchise today, how would you use AI, automation, and technology to grow it to $1 million in annual revenue within 3 years?
Your response should include:
- Your growth strategy
- How you would use AI and technology
- Your approach to marketing and customer acquisition
- How you would build and manage a team
- Any unique ideas that would give you a competitive advantage
Optional Bonus (Highly Encouraged)
✅Submit a 2–3 minute video explaining your plan.
This is your chance to show us your personality, communication skills, and confidence as a future entrepreneur.
The Process
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be a current high school senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Open to students across the United States
Submission Guidelines
- Essay must be 750–1,500 words
- Submissions must be original work
- Video submissions are optional but recommended

Winner will be selected by June 16, 2026.

Submissions will be judged based on:

- Practicality of the Plan
- Understanding of Business & Growth

- Clarity and Communication
We’re especially interested in ideas that could be applied in the real world—not just theory.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
We’re looking for people who:

Additional Scholarship Information:
The funds will be available for the 2026-2027 school year.
This is a single-semester scholarship. New scholarships will be available each year. You may re-apply each year.
One (1) scholarship is available for $2,500.
A winner will be selected by June 16, 2026. GrassRoots will notify the winner via email. In the event, the winner does not respond within 72 hours of the initial contact a new winner will be selected.
Prior to collecting the scholarship award, the winner will be required to verify their school status and other eligibility requirements.
The funds may be used for tuition or to cover other educational expenses at an accredited university.
