About Seth Johnson
Seth Johnson is the owner of GrassRoots Turf of West Central Georgia and a lifelong local who understands the lawns, soils, and seasons of this area firsthand. Having worked in lawn care from his early teenage years, Seth didn’t discover turf later in life—it’s something he’s been around most of his life. His background in self-employment, construction, and insurance shaped his work ethic and reinforced the importance of doing business the right way.
GrassRoots Turf of West Central GA was built on simple principles: show up when you say you will, use quality products, apply them correctly, and be honest with customers about what their lawn needs and what it doesn’t.
Seth believes strong results come from consistency and realistic expectations, not shortcuts or overpromises. Every property is treated with care and attention to detail, just as if it were his own.
For Seth, lawn care is more than appearances. A healthy lawn supports family time, outdoor living, and pride of ownership. That’s why transparency and communication are a priority—customers are informed before and after each service and always know what’s being applied and why.
Born and raised just north of Columbus, GA, Seth has lived in the West Central Georgia area for most of his life and is proud to serve the communities from LaGrange to Columbus, GA, and Phenix City to Auburn, AL.
When he’s not working, Seth enjoys spending time with family and staying involved in the local community. Partnering with GrassRoots Turf means working with someone who understands local lawns, values long-term relationships, and is committed to earning your trust season after season.
